The Bedourie Artesian Spa and Swimming Pool was opened in 1998. The complex features a 25m swimming pool and a 22 person therapeutic spa, which is a favourite with locals and visitors alike. The crystal-clear water comes directly from the artesian bore in town, the bore was drilled in 1905 to a depth of 400m.
The Artesian Spa and Swimming Pool complex is open all year. Keys available to the complex are available from the Diamantina Shire Council office, Simpson Desert Oasis and Royal Hotel located in Herbert Street.
