Feeling hot? What about a swim? Pelican Point is the place to go you'll find the swimming here in the billabong refreshing so pack a picnic and take yourself down for a swim.  Just out of town, over the eastern grid and about 200 metres turn to your right you will see the sign "Pelican Point", just follow this road ( and please shut the gate after you) great for bird watchers as well, this permanent water source is a haven for bird life in the area.
