The greatest show in the outback rolls around once again on the first Saturday of September as the Birdsville gets set to hold its annual race meeting. The 12 race program features top horses from all over Australia competing for the coveted XXXX Gold Birdsville Cup. Get in early to secure a good campsite and enjoy all the entertainment in the lead up to the big weekend. The races culminate with a giant auction on the Saturday night raising money for the Royal Flying Doctors Service.

Attracting between 5000- 6000 visitors from all over the world, the Birdsville Races 2007 is an event that you’ll be talking about for years to come.
