There are four ways in which you can pay your rates, these are by BPAY (preferred method), in person, by mail or by direct deposit.  You can also arrange with the Council to make pre-paid instalments, please contact the office for more detail.  Overdue rates are charged interest, which is calculated at 8% p.a. compound interest, calculated on a daily basis, on overdue rates outstanding 61 Days after issue date.

Contact your bank or financial institution to make payment from your cheque, savings, debit, credit card or transaction account. 

In Person
Present your rates notice intact with cash or cheque at the Bedourie Administration Centre or the Birdsville Wirrarri Centre between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.  EFTPOS and Credit Card payment is available. (Bankcard, MasterCard, VISA)

By Mail
You can detach and complete the bottom portion of your rates notice with your credit card details or cheque and post to:

Payment by Instalments
Ratepayers who wish to pay their rates by instalments over the financial year are advised to obtain an application form from the Shire Office.  Please note however, that such instalment payments are subject to the payment of a premium, and do not entitle the ratepayer to the discount, unless the final instalment is made prior to the end of the discount period.
