In this dynamic role, you’ll:
- Process payroll accurately and on time in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to employee queries.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support and assistance across the Finance team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of financial services throughout the organisation.
Payroll Function Overview and Highlight
The Payroll function plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies. It involves:
- Processing payroll for all staff, including leave entitlements, deductions, and allowances.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Ensuring compliance with taxation, superannuation, and employment regulations.
- Responding to employee queries related to pay, leave balances, and entitlements.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to support workforce planning and reporting.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
