Birdsville Wirrarri Information Centre Temporary Closure

Council wishes to advise that the Birdsville Wirrarri Visitor Information Centre and Library will be closed on Friday, 28 November 2025. The centre will reopen on Saturday, 29 November at 8:30am. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Temporary Playgroup Location

Council advises that due to an ACCC Product Recall of Creatistics and Kadink Coloured Decorative Sand used at our playgroups, sessions will be temporarily relocated to the Bedourie Outback Visitor Centre and the Wirrarri Centre and other agreed locations from Monday 24 to Friday 28 November 2025.

Bedourie Playgroup Closure and Relocation

Please be advised that the Bedourie Playgroup will be closed this Thursday 20 November. We will hold a session at the Water Park in Birdsville from 10 am to 12:30 pm.
Bedourie Playgroup will be hosting an outreach playgroup session at Sandringham Station this Friday from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
All families are welcome to come along and participate.
