Our Road Network
Diamantina Shire Council maintains a total of 1,659 kilometres of roads, including 1,038 kilometres of Shire roads and 621 kilometres of Main roads. The majority of these roads are unsealed.
The total length of sealed roads is 364 kilometres, with 331 kilometres maintained for the Department of Transport and Main Road and 33 kilometres of Shire roads.
