Start your Birdsville adventure at the Wirrarri Visitor Information Centre, the essential hub for outback travellers. Pick up maps and brochures, check road conditions, get local tips, and purchase your Desert Parks Pass before exploring Munga-Thirri–Simpson Desert National Park.
More than a visitor centre, Wirrarri is also a community hub with a library, gallery space and Wi-Fi facilities for travellers. Conveniently located in the heart of town, it’s just a short walk from the Birdsville Hotel, Bakery, Roadhouse, general store and caravan park.
