Council Meetings
Diamantina Shire Council welcomes community members to attend its Ordinary Meetings, held as part of Council’s commitment to openness, transparency, and local engagement. Meetings are generally held on the third Monday of each month, starting at 9.00am, at either the Bedourie Administration Centre Boardroom or the Wirrarri Visitor Information Centre Meeting Room, as outlined in the schedule below.
Everyone is welcome to attend, except when Council needs to discuss confidential matters. Public agendas are available on the Friday before each meeting, and meeting minutes can be viewed online. Council meetings are conducted in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009, the Local Government Regulation 2012, and Council’s Standing Orders.
