Diamantina Shire Council is inviting community members to attend the upcoming Community Budget Display for the proposed 2026–2027 Annual Budget.
The display provides residents with an opportunity to learn more about Council’s plans, projects and priorities for the year ahead, including proposed capital works, operational initiatives and key community services planned across the Shire.
Community members are encouraged to drop in, explore the displays and speak with Council representatives about the proposed budget and future direction of the region.
The display will include information on:
Wednesday 27 May 2026 9:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday 28 May 2026 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday 30 May 2026 9:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday 31 May 2026 9:00am – 3:00pm
Council encourages all residents to attend, stay informed and have a look at the projects and priorities proposed for the 2026–2027 financial year.
Morning tea will be available from 10:00 am each day.
