Diamantina Shire Council advises that following an ACCC Product Recall in Queensland of Creatistics and Kadink - Coloured Decorative Sand used at our playgroups, our community playgroup sessions will be temporarily relocated to the Bedourie Outback Visitor Information Centre and Birdsville Wirrarri Visitor Information Centre between Monday, 17th November and Friday, 21st November 2025.
This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of all children and families attending our programs. We appreciate the community’s understanding and cooperation during this temporary change. Council will provide further updates as needed, and looks forward to welcoming families in the new location.
