Refund Claim Notice—Birdsville and Bedourie Aerodromes Users

Users of the Birdsville and Bedourie Aerodromes during the period from 1 October 2023 to 30 June 2025 (Relevant Period) may be eligible to claim a refund of overcharged landing fees paid for landings at these aerodromes.

Refund claims must be submitted by no later than 30 June 2026.

To claim a refund:
1. The claim must be submitted by no later than 5:00pm on 30 June 2026 (Claim End Date).

2. The claim must be in writing and must contain all of the following information:
    (1) Your full legal name (as registered with Avdata)
    (2) For a corporation, your principal place of business address; for an individual, your
residential address
    (3) Your contact email address and telephone/mobile phone number
    (4) Your Avdata Customer ID
    (5) Your bank account details (account name, BSB, account number)

3. By no later than the Claim End Date, send the written claim and supporting documents to the
aerodrome’s owner—Diamantina Shire Council, Attention: Chief Executive Officer, Subject
title: Aerodrome Fees Refund Claim’, either:
    (1) by email to: revenue@diamantina.qld.gov.au ; or
    (2) by post to: 17 Herbert Street, Bedourie, QLD 4829.

If you are eligible for a refund, Council will contact you to progress the settlement of your claim for a refund of the overcharged amounts as calculated by Council.
