Council wishes to advise that the current Telstra landline outage in Birdsville is a regional issue. Telstra currently has a technician scheduled to travel to Birdsville from mid-April to assess the issues.

Council advises that the pump station near the northeastern levee bank in Bedourie is failing, causing the sewer to overflow.
Council has arranged for an electrician to be flown into Bedourie to rectify the matter as soon as possible.
