Widespread heavy rainfall late last week has caused river levels to rise and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries. Minor flooding is occurring at Diamantina Lakes. An earlier flood peak is continuing to move downstream along the Diamantina River below Monkira.Check our Disaster Dashboard for flood updates.
A number of roads across the Diamantina are closed due to rain.Please follow Council signage and drive according to prevailing road conditions.
