Paying Your Rates


Internet Banking - BPAY

Contact your bank or financial institution to make payment from your cheque, savings, debit, credit card or transaction account. This is Council's preferred method of payment.

In Person

Present your rates notice at the Bedourie Administration Centre, 8:30am and 5:00pm weekdays (except public holidays). Payment can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard.

By Phone

Call the Council's Administration Office on (07) 4746 1600, 8:30am and 5:00pm weekdays (except public holidays), with your credit/debit card and rates notice to hand. Please quote your assessment number.

By Mail (Cheque)

You can detach and complete the bottom portion of your rates notice and post with your cheque to:

Direct Deposit

If you pay by direct deposit, please ensure you quote the Reference Number or Assessment Number in the transaction description and email a remittance to

Payment by Instalments

Ratepayers who wish to pay their rates by instalments over the financial year are advised to obtain an application form from the Shire Office.  Please note however, that such instalment payments do not entitle the ratepayer to the discount, unless the final instalment is made prior to the end of the discount period.
