2025 Retrospective Exhibition in Birdsville of Wolfgang John original art works.

Many of us knew and loved the late Birdsville artist, Wolfgang John, or Wolfie, and have some of his fine works hanging in our homes, or know someone who has.

If you are one of those people, we would love to hear from you about your interest in loaning your works to the Diamantina Shire Council for a retrospective exhibition in the Wirrarri Information Centre gallery, from April to September 2025.

Installation would likely be in late March with an official opening in early April, with close of exhibition October 2025, after which the works can be collected.

Wolfgang John's son is keen to support the project, so hopfully with enough support from the wider community, we can begin the process of what would be a stellar exhibition.
