The “Voice” Referendum voting day will be Saturday, 14 October 2023.
The Australian Electoral Commission will deliver Remote Voting Services to Rural and Remote communities across Australia from Monday, 25 September 2023, 19 days before referendum day.
Birdsville and Bedourie are included in the rollout, and the Remote Voting Services team will visit on the designated days.

Please note that the date for voting in Bedourie is a Public Holiday (King's Birthday)
It is anticipated that not all people who are eligible to vote will be able to make it to the polling stations on the date or during the times nominated.
If you are unable to vote on either of the dates mentioned above, then you should make arrangements to apply for a postal vote.
Applications for Postal Votes opened at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 11, and will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11.
