Public Notice - Solar Panel Installation Project
You may be aware that Council has received funding to install roof mounted solar power on all Council houses in Bedourie and Birdsville.
The project has gone to tender and tenderers are invited to conduct on-site inspections in Bedourie on Tuesday 22nd September and the morning of Wednesday 23rd, and in Birdsville on the afternoon of Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th.
The tenders will be accompanied by various Council officers and will only need access to your yard to inspect the switch board and the roof.
Being a remote area Council does not need to issue entry notices as we do not have a suitably qualified tradesperson locally.
Council will implement the following COVID-19 precautions:
- Householders will not be required to attend or leave their house while the inspection is being carried out;
- The tenderers and Council officers will practice all required social distancing practices.
