PUBLIC NOTICE
Bird dispersal in Bedourie and Birdsville


Please be advised, due to the Increased population of Cockatoo's causing damage and noise issues in Bedourie and Birdsville. Council will be using
non - lethal "Bird fright" shot gun shells in an effort to disperse the increased numbers. These shells are specifically designed to provide a noise deterrent
but do not harm the birds.
These actions will take place during the evening when the birds settle to roost until such time as the population has been dispersed.
National Parks and the Queensland Police Service have been contacted and approve of this action to disperse these birds.
