Facilities

One of Council's roles is to look after the people in its Community by providing certain public facilities such as Swimming Pools, Libraries and Parks.

Some of the public facilities on offer in the Diamantina Shire are listed below:

Diamantina Shire Council Libraries

Both Libraries are open daily with public access to computers for research/internet usage.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4.30pm (all year round).
Weekends 10:00am - 2pm from April until the end of September. (Closed October - March)

Bedourie Library - located in the Bedourie Outback Visitor Centre
