Diamantina Shire Council wishes to advise community members that due to the mechanical failure of the garbage collection truck, Council has been unable to collect household rubbish bins today, Tuesday 3 December, in Birdsville.

The vehicle is currently being worked on and residents will be advised when the collection service will be completed.

Council apologises for the inconvenience caused and hopes to resume services as soon as possible.
