Australia Day Award Nominations

Back

On 26 January Australians all around the country will celebrate what’s great about Australia. We would like you to help us celebrate what’s great about our community by nominating someone you know for an Australia Day Award. Australia Day Awards are presented every two years to citizens/groups who have made noteworthy contributions to their local community. The Australia Day Awards is a program rewarding community service at a local level and is administered through a nomination program, which is assessed by a local selection committee. The Awards are presented at the Australia Day celebrations held on the 26th January 2021 in Bedourie.

The Awards are given to reward and recognise the nominee’s achievements in the previous two years (2019/2020), as well as their past achievement’s and/or their contribution within the Shire.
